we are delighted to celebrate the fantastic efforts and curiosity of our students who participated in this year’s UKMT Mathematics Challenge.
These prestigious, nationally recognised competitions are designed to push students beyond the standard curriculum. Participants are required to think deeply, reason logically, and apply their mathematical knowledge to creative and unfamiliar problems. Our students rose to this challenge with remarkable determination, proving that they have both the skill and the ambition to excel on a national stage.
A Message from the Maths Team
As a department, we are incredibly proud of the way our students approached the competition. Their focus and genuine enthusiasm for learning were evident throughout the process. It was wonderful to see so many young mathematicians keen to deepen their understanding, embrace complex challenges, and represent Stantonbury School so positively.
The Results
This year saw a high level of engagement across Key Stage 3 and 4, with several students achieving Gold, Silver, and Bronze certificates.
Year 9 Highlights
With 53 students participating, our Year 9 cohort demonstrated a strong foundation in logical reasoning.
