Student Absence:

Community Spirit Needed: An Update from the Stantonbury School Food Bank

Stantonbury School is calling on the local community to help restock its school-run food bank, which is currently seeing a significant dip in supplies.

Established as a vital resource to support our students and their families, the Stantonbury Food Bank relies on the generosity of staff, parents, and local residents. While we have been fortunate to receive incredible support in the past, our current stock levels are running low, and we are looking to replenish our shelves to ensure no one in our community goes without.

How You Can Help

We are gratefully accepting donations of all kinds. Whether it is a single tin of soup, essential toiletries, or dry goods like pasta and rice, every contribution makes a direct impact.

Items currently in high demand include:

  • Non-perishable food: Canned vegetables, meat, and fruit.
  • Dry goods: Cereals, pasta, rice, and lentils.
  • Essentials: Long-life milk, fruit juices, and hygiene products.

A Resource for Everyone

While we are focused on restocking, we also want to remind our school family that this resource is here to be used. We regularly receive generous donations specifically intended to help our families navigate challenging times. We encourage anyone who could benefit from this support to reach out—our goal is to ensure these items find a home where they are needed most.
