We are thrilled to celebrate the success of our talented students at the Milton Keynes Young Artist of the Year Exhibition, which opened on Saturday at the Westbury Art Centre.
Out of ten schools participating from across Milton Keynes, Stantonbury students made a remarkable impression in the 15–16 age category, proudly securing two of the three top awards:
First Place – Ethan
Awarded for his exceptional sculpture, showcasing remarkable creativity and technical skill.
Runner-Up – Olivia
Recognised for her stunning mixed-media painting, praised for its depth and artistic expression.
This is an incredible achievement and a testament to the dedication, imagination, and hard work of all our young artists. Stantonbury’s full collection of ten entries was highly commended by the judges for its variety and ambition.
The exhibition was very busy, making it challenging to capture high-quality photos on the day. We look forward to sharing clearer images once the artwork returns to school on Wednesday.
We are extremely proud of Ethan, Olivia, and all the students who took part. Their success highlights the strength of the creative arts at Stantonbury and the bright future of our emerging artists.
